The time has come my friends, For Scordatura Vita to Hit the Studio once again! This Tuesday, we will begin the production of our Self titled Summer EP by recording the click and scratch tracks that will serve as the guideline for the final product at Sonic Ranch in Early June! We are extremely excited, and want to give very special thanks to ERICK GUTIERREZ (Whom we mentioned in the last update) for putting so much hard work and patience into the process. Especially since were only, on the first stage of production! We’re definitely looking forward to the experiences to come. Aside from that, we have an amazing line up of shows for APRIL, so CHECK EM OUT! We hope to catch you guys at one (if not all) of them, and hope that you will continue to support us and your Local Music Scene.

Friends!
We know it seems like we’ve been slacking it for the past several months, BUT we are actually hard at work getting things planned for our summer shows and getting our new bassist ready! In fact, we have a good number of performances coming up in the month of April; so look above this little update and check the dates! There will be plenty of opportunities to catch us live this spring/summer so there is no reason why we shouldn’t see you guys out there supporting us and you local music scene. On top of the live show conditioning, we have also finished the Live demo reel that (aside from having a couple of kinks here and there) should give you a taste of how much fun a live SV show can really be, So don’t be shy come have a couple of beers with us! Also, it has come to our attention that it has been very difficult to sing along to SV music when you don’t have a good set of recordings to attempt to learn the music. Know that we are in the process of fixing this problem, and have enlisted the help of a good friend who we’ve known for a long time. His name is ERICK GUTIERREZ, he is a Commercial Music student at UTEP and a Producer whom is becoming quite good at what he does. Erick has been kind enough to offer us a gracious amount of studio time, and with the help of the very talented audio engineer (and let’s not forget producer as well) CHRISTOPHER SCHOEMANN, our Songs will be greatly (and substantially) optimized. A new Scordatura Vita is on its way my friends, do not fret! We ain’t dead yet! Until next time, never forget that we will always be grateful for the friends who stick by us (actually reading these lengthy updates) CHECK THE DATES! WE WILL SEE YOU SOON

Dear fans and
friends,
Spring is upon us, and we all know that spring is a season of change. With
that said, we would like to proudly welcome our great friend and new band
mate Chris Schoemann to the permanent SV Lineup. We know that the future
holds great things for us with our longtime friend and, now fellow band
brother on board. We hope that all of our loving friends and fans will
give a warm welcome to Chris as well at one of our many shows to come!
Aside from the lineup change, February was a hectic month for us. We
celebrated our The birthdays of two close friends, FINALLY finished the
Live Video Reel (That should be posted by the end of this week) finished
the production of three New songs that will be performed at the next
shows, and last (but certainly not least) celebrated the anniversary month
of our Great friends and sponsors at TOM FOOLERIES TATTOO EXTRAVAGANZA!
Hopefully you all took the opportunity at getting some great deals. As
mentioned before, change is upon us, and Scordatura Vita will use that
change for the better, check the new dates we'll be posting for the month
of March, you may catch us at a Venue near you!

Also, we havent had a chance to thank all who came out to the Yolanda
Webster benefit show on Saturday 1/12/11. Thank you for making it a
complete success! We were overjoyed at the sight of (Literally) a full
house, and the donations that you contributed to have helped Yolanda come
one step closer to being able to undergo the surgery for the removal of
her brain tumor. As always, we are eternally grateful for each and every
one of you! AND what's up with Scordatura Vita at the moment? Besides
booking shows, the video editing process is nearing its end, so visitors
of the site will be able to view SV, in all of its glory, performing the
setlist at various venues from the dates of september to december, perhaps
you can catch yourselves in one of the clips! As well as the new video
posting, we'll be adding live pictures in the media section (which as you
can see is pretty lonely). So, this is where you come in, send us your
live pictures of Scordatura Vita live! And you can even send us any Fan
Pics (wearing T-shirts at shows, spreading the love etc.) And we'll
publicize them here on the website :) Were still hard at work getting the
new songs ready for debut, so check the dates, make it to the shows, and
perhaps you'll be the first to hear New Scordatura Vita Material :D

Hope everyone had a great time celebrating their New Year with their
closest friends and loved ones last week, we know we did! Now, who¡¯s ready for
